Shah Rukh Khan, the most famous of Bollywoods superstar actors, was down at HRT with fellow thespian Manisha Lamba, while multiple world rally champion Carlos Sainz was in town to watch son Carlos Jnr race in Formula BMW and IRL team owner Kevin Kalkhoven was in attendance with his other business, Cosworth.
In Saturdays Formula BMW encounter Singapores Richard Bradley beat Sainz by just under four seconds after they qualified first and second for Eurasia Motorsport and Eurointernational respectively.
Meritus impressive rookie Oscar Tunjo from Colombia qualified third after being fastest in practice, and finished fourth behind E-Rain Racings Fahmi Ilyas. Fourth fastest qualifier Kotaro Sakurai from the Philippines spun off.
