The British American Racing team will announce its driver line-up for next season at a press conference in Tokyo on Tuesday, and it is not expected to include Jacques Villeneuve.

Villeneuve's manager Craig Pollock confirmed over the weekend that they had been informed by BAR boss David Richards that the former champion would not be part of the Honda-powered team in 2004.

His replacement, who will drive alongside the already confirmed Jenson Button, is widely tipped to be the team's current third driver Takuma Sato.
