Schumacher and Barrichello to star at Mugello 16 Oct 2003
Formula One racing fans will get another chance to see the world championship winning Ferrari F2003-GA in action this weekend when Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello take to the track at Mugello as part of the Ferrari-Maserati World Finals.
Their appearance on Sunday will be one of the highlights of the event, which marks the official end to the Italian automotive group's 2003 racing season. The Ferrari team mates will be joined on their demonstration runs by test drivers Luca Badoer and Felipe Massa.
All four will then participate in a special challenge event at the wheel of Maserati Trofeos, as used in the manufacturer's one-make series. They will be joined at the Tuscan circuit by former Ferrari Formula One stars Rene Arnoux and Ivan Capelli, who drove for the Italian team from 1983 to 1985 and in 1992 respectively.
Fans will also have the chance to see a special parade of 25 single-seaters from Ferrari's motor racing past, which is sure to include an interesting array of Formula One machinery. Other attractions at the event, which gets underway on Friday, will include the Shell Historic Ferrari Maserati challenge, featuring no less than 83 cars in action.
