Lower prices for 2004 British Grand Prix 08 Dec 2003
Organisers of the British Grand Prix have announced that tickets for next year's race at Silverstone will offer even better value thanks to a new pricing structure.
Three-day tickets for the July meeting are available from as little as £90 for adults and £30 for children, if purchased before March 1, 2004. This season the equivalent adult ticket cost £115.
"We made it clear at this year's British Grand Prix that we would review pricing for 2004 and we've honoured this commitment," commented Andrew Waller, Managing Director of Silverstone. "We believe the new pricing offers better value for money to everyone."
In further changes the previous flat-rate pricing for grandstand tickets has been replaced by a tiered system, which means fans will pay according to seat location. There is also an early booking discount whereby fans buying race day tickets before the March deadline will automatically be upgraded to a weekend ticket.
British Grand Prix organisers are hoping the race will take place on July 11, rather than its currently scheduled slot on July 4. However, no date change has yet been announced by the FIA.
