Welcome back to sunny Monte Carlo, where the good news is that the weather forecast both today and tomorrow looks much more favourable. It will get up to 23 degrees Celsius today, as anticipated, and qualifying will be dry and sunny, just as it is now this morning.

Tomorrow the chances of rain have fallen from 40 percent to only 20, and the thunderstorms that were predicted are now unlikely to materialise.

A dry race will still enable everyone to come up with unusual strategies, without the risk of rain throwing a spanner in the works.
