Thursday weather report 03 Jul 2003

The weather was set fine over Magny Cours.
French Grand Prix, Magny Cours, 21 July 2002

Welcome to our coverage of the French Grand Prix here at the Magny-Cours circuit, in the heart of central France.

The weather is traditionally changeable here, which always has a knock-on effect on track conditions and car performance. It is humid today, as usual, but visibility is clear and despite the strong threat of light rain the temperature is due to reach a high of 21 degrees Celsius.

For the rest of the weekend things should get better. It will be cloudy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but the chance of rain will drop from 20 percent to 10 percent to zero as the weekend progresses. Likewise the temperature is due to get higher each day, and raceday should see it reach the mid 20s, making for perfect racing conditions.
