Welcome to race day at the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours where, as expected, the weather is superb.

The temperature is currently just over 20 degrees Celsius and is due to reach 27 on a day of unlimited visibility and mild breeze.

The drivers can look forward to a gruelling race, where most likely three-stop strategies will be the norm because of heavy tyre wear, which will, of course, be exacerbated by the high track temperature.
