Formula 3000 team mates Townsend Bell and Bjorn Wirdheim will both test for BAR next month as part of the team's commitment to evaluating and nurturing new Formula One driving talent.

Bell, a 28-year-old American and 2001 CART Indy Lights Champion, and 23-year-old Swede, Wirdheim, the newly crowned 2003 F3000 Champion, will both drive the BAR 005 during September, once the summer testing ban is over.

The pair are currently team mates at the Arden International F3000 squad, which has a close relationship with BAR. Wirdheim also has two tests scheduled in September with Jordan, including the Friday morning session of the Italian Grand Prix meeting at Monza.

BAR is expected to give further opportunities to other up-and-coming drivers during the autumn testing season.
