Sunday weather - a cold, wet race ahead? 28 Sep 2003
As if it isn't enough to have a grid in which the third-placed driver in the championship is on pole, the second-placed is fourth and the leader is seventh, the weather here at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has defied the forecasters yet again.
The temperature has so far just edged over 10 degrees Celsius (50 Fahrenheit) and it won't get above around 13 (the mid-50s) over the course of the day. The chance of rain has increased to 30 percent and, in a word, it's cold. The skies are cloudy and overcast and everybody is working on their alternative tyre strategies.
Befitting the best championship in years, this penultimate race promises to be completely unpredictable.
