The Jordan team have predicted that their 2004 challenger, the EJ14, should get its first track outing in early February. Though no official launch date has been set for the new car, they hope it will make its test debut at Silverstone on February 4-5.

The team will be on track ahead of that at Barcelona, later this month. According to the team's official website, a four-day test at the Spanish venue from January 20-23 is likely to be the last circuit appearance for the outgoing EJ13.

Jordan also has further tests lined up at Jerez, Barcelona and Silverstone later in February. They have yet to announce any drivers for the 2004 season and, according to their website, boss Eddie Jordan will "carefully evaluate the shortlist of available drivers before deciding who will best complement the team's 2004 package".
