Williams have announced that Nelson Piquet Jr and Nico Rosberg will both get another chance to impress in the coming weeks, following their initial tests with the team last December.

The two young drivers will be assisting Williams with their intensive pre-season testing schedule. Rosberg will run at Barcelona on January 21 and 23, Piquet at the same venue on February 3 and 5. Both will use the modified FW25A car.

Piquet impressed many industry commentators last year while racing in the British F3 Championship for family-run team, PiquetSports. He finished his first season in the series in third position with six victories and nine pole positions. The Brazilian also contested the prestigious Zandvoort Malboro Masters event and finished second at his first attempt.

For Rosberg it will be his third Williams test. He was first invited to drive an FW24 in December 2002 as a reward for his outstanding performance in the Formula BMW ADAC Championship, in which he secured nine victories out of 20, enough to claim that year's title. At only 17 years old, the German was the youngest driver ever to take part in a Formula One test session.

He then spent the 2003 season racing for Team Rosberg in the Formula 3 Euro Series. By the end of the year, he had claimed one race win and eventually finished the championship in eighth place.
