Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello will return to the race track this weekend, just seven days after the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix. The team mates will form the star turn at the 2004 Ferrari Maserati World Finals at Monza.

The event, which brings to a close the Italian car group’s racing season, runs from Thursday through Sunday, with the highlight of the final day being a demonstration run by four F2004s, driven by Schumacher and Barrichello, plus testers Luca Badoer and Andrea Bertolini.

This will be preceded by a parade of customer-owned Ferrari Formula One cars, while even more Maranello-made Grand Prix machinery is likely to be on show in the Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge race. Among the other races on the busy schedule are the final rounds of the season for the Italian, European and American Ferrari 360 Challenge Pirelli Trophy.
