Silverstone Day Three - Button again 26 Feb 2004
Once again it was BAR's Jenson Button who set the pace at Silverstone on Wednesday in this week's third day of testing at the British circuit. At the wheel of the '04 concept car, Button was marginally quicker than the team's test driver, Anthony Davidson, in the new 006.
McLaren joined the test, with Spaniard Pedro de la Rosa going third fastest as he shook down an MP4-19 chassis. Jordan completed the line-up, with Giorgio Pantano setting the day's final time. The team also had third driver Timo Glock in action, shaking down a third EJ14 chassis, though the German did not record a time.
Testing concludes at Silverstone on Thursday.
