Friday weather update - wet race possible 07 May 2004
Welcome back to the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya, fifth round of the 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship.
After yesterday’s temperature high of 22 degrees Celsius, which was some way beyond what was originally forecast, the expectation today remains 16 degrees with partly cloudy skies. It should be the same on Saturday, when the threat of afternoon rain has lifted.
However, although it could be as hot as 20 degrees on Sunday, there is now a 50% chance of rain showers in the afternoon, which could give us the first wet race of 2004.
