Welcome back to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and day two of the 2004 US Grand Prix meeting, where it would appear we are definitely over the worst of the weather.
After minimal rain last night, clear skies and sun greeted the teams this morning as they prepared to begin the first of their two 45-minute practice sessions.
The fine conditions are expected to continue for qualifying, with the previously forecast rain now unlikely, and an expected high of around 27 degrees Celsius. Sunday should see more of the same, so a sunny and hot Indianapolis race is in prospect.
