Weekend weather update - Britain 08 Jul 2004
Welcome to Silverstone and the British Grand Prix, the 11th round of the 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship.
As home fans will have doubtless noticed, the weather has been in serious decline in most parts of the British Isles since Wednesday, and the forecast for the weekend is not likely to be very conducive to English garden parties.
Rain is scheduled for the Silverstone area today, and the ambient temperature isnt expected to exceed 13 Celsius. Tomorrow that will rise to 17, with a markedly lower chance of rain, and on Saturday it will be a little warmer with showers forecast for the afternoon, which could prove disruptive in qualifying.
Sunday will be cloudy and of similar temperature to Saturday (18 degrees), but as things stand rain is unlikely.
