Welcome to the 12th race in the 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship, the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim.

This is the race for which the Michelin runners have been praying for high, summer temperatures, but the signs so far are for changeable conditions.

Today there is a chance of showers but the ambient temperature high is expected to reach 29 degrees Celsius, and that will improve to 31 tomorrow, when it will be cloudy.

However, come Saturday there is a very high chance of rain, with the temperature falling to 25. It will then climb again to an expected high of 27 degrees on Sunday, when it will be cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain.
