Button contract decision delayed
|
Jenson Button will have to wait until at least next month to find out which team he can race for next season, after the Contract Recognition Board (CRB) adjourned his case on Wednesday.
The CRB, who met in Paris, will reconvene in Milan on October 16 to decide whether Williams or BAR have the right to Buttons services in 2005. Both teams claim to have valid contracts with the driver, though both have promised not to contest any CRB decision.
Button, currently third in the drivers championship with BAR, wants to return to Williams, the team with whom he made his Formula One debut back in 2000. They have already signed Mark Webber for next season.
