Weather update - perfect race conditions 16 Oct 2005
Welcome to race day in Shanghai, where the second Chinese Grand Prix brings the 19-race 2005 FIA Formula One World Championship - the longest in the sport's history - to its conclusion.
All the indications thus far are that the race will take place in warm conditions, with an expected ambient temperature high around 23 degrees Celsius and light wind.
Shanghai International Circuit is largely unchanged since last years inaugural race. This years will be run over 56 laps of the 5.451 km (3.387 miles) circuit, giving a race length of 305.066 km (189.568 miles). It starts at 14.00 hrs local time which is eight hours ahead of GMT.
