Welcome back to Sepang, where things are literally hotting up for the 2005 Malaysian Grand Prix.

Yesterday’s ambient temperature high exceeded its forecast 34 degrees Celsius, reaching 38 at one point, and for the rest of the weekend there are predictions of 40 degrees. That means a track temperature nudging 60!

The humidity remains high, and there is a chance of isolated thunderstorms in the area both this afternoon and tomorrow. However, there were similar predictions in the last two days but no precipitation fell anywhere near the Sepang circuit.
