Live timing - Sunday Qualifying improvements 21 Apr 2005

In response to user feedback, we are introducing an improved format for our official live timing feed for Sunday qualifying.

As well as showing each driver’s aggregated qualifying time, the screen will now also show their Sunday lap time and ranking in isolation.

This will allow you to instantly judge who is truly fast in race trim - set-up and fuel changes are not allowed between final qualifying and the race - and help you try and predict what race strategy they might be on.

And if you miss the session, remember you can still view those Sunday lap times. Simply visit the results page for Sunday Qualifying and click on the Live Timing Archive button.

At the San Marino Grand Prix, final qualifying begins at 1000 local time (0800 GMT). We do, of course, bring you official live timing of every session, starting with Friday’s first practice from 1100 local time (0900 GMT).
