FIA set Toyota hearing date 27 Apr 2005
The Toyota team will find out next week whether their appeal against Ralf Schumachers time penalty at the San Marino Grand Prix has been successful or not.
Schumacher finished eighth in the Imola round, but dropped to 11th after stewards added 25 seconds to his race time for an unsafe manoeuvre in the pit lane. Toyota immediately decided to contest the decision, claiming that numerous similar incidents have gone unpunished in the past.
Their case is now scheduled to be heard be the International Court of Appeal in Paris on the morning of Tuesday May 4, with a decision expected on the afternoon of the following day.
The FIAs own appeal against San Marino race stewards over Jenson Buttons third-place finish for BAR at Imola will be heard on the morning of Wednesday May 5, with a verdict due on the Thursday afternoon.
