Rosberg makes official Williams debut 28 Apr 2005
Nico Rosberg made his first appearance as an official Williams test driver on Wednesday, running alongside Mark Webber at Silverstone. Rosberg, son of 1982 world champion Keke, completed 57 laps in his maiden outing in the FW27.
With morning rain giving way to a dry track in the afternoon, Rosberg spent the day familiarising himself with the car, as well as carrying out general set-up work and pit-stop practice. Webber focussed on tyres and set-up for the forthcoming Spanish Grand Prix, the Australian totalling 101 laps.
Joining Williams at Silverstone were the Jordan team, who had Tiago Monteiro in the cockpit of the Toyota-powered EJ15.
