Ferrari begin testing in Barcelona 22 Jun 2005
World champions Ferrari had Barcelonas Circuit de Catalunya to themselves on Tuesday as they returned to testing in preparation for the forthcoming French Grand Prix.
Official test driver Luca Badoer was the man at the wheel of the F2005, the Italian tackling a programme of set-up and aerodynamic work, completing a total of 104 laps with a best time of 1m 16.996s.
Conditions were pretty much perfect for the session, with cloudy skies clearing by the afternoon, and track temperatures peaking at 31 degrees Celsius. Badoer continues testing at the circuit on Wednesday, with Jordan due to arrive on Thursday.
Elsewhere in Spain, several of the Michelin teams will be testing at Jerez from Wednesday (see previous story).
