Red Bull spin the Hockenheim paddock 23 Jul 2005
Thursday evening saw Red Bulls Energy Station take on a late-night lounge feel, as subtle tube lighting and a live DJ help create just the right atmosphere for a laid-back paddock party, open to the entire Formula One community.
The Hockenheim function, dubbed 'Chilled Thirstday', saw the stylish Formula Unas girls and guests shake their thang to music supplied by live act, DJ Smudo, of the Fantastischen Vier, German's top Rap group. Scenes from Red Bulls X Fighters event in Madrid were beamed live onto the Energy Stations 30-plus screens, and Smudo timed his music to fit exactly with the awesome jumps being made by the motocross riders.
Chef Stefan Marquard, renowned for producing unusual combinations of tastes, provided the food and guests enjoyed delectable treats, such as white tomato shakes in test tubes, which were then corked with large prawns. Tasty!
