Formula One Administration Limited has signed an agreement with Expedia, Inc. a Washington Corporation, one of the world’s leading travel services companies, to offer a fully interactive ticket, travel search and booking facility for Formula1.com. This service, which is now under construction, will launch in the autumn of 2005.

Users of Formula1.com will be able to choose from a menu consisting exclusively of Formula One race events and dynamically package race tickets with a choice of flights, hotels and car hire. The service will offer the product variety and price competitiveness that the global internet community has come to expect and enjoy from Expedia®, and will use Expedia’s award-winning travel technology, which has been specifically adapted for Formula One.

At the launch of this service, new Destination Guides will be activated on formula1.com, which will offer comprehensive travel and cultural information about each race destination, enabling race enthusiasts to better compare events and make more informed travel decisions.

Bernie Ecclestone, CEO, Formula One Administration Ltd:
“The number of people using formula1.com has risen hugely. Research with these users has shown us that this is the service that they want. I’m pleased we have reached an agreement with Expedia and that we’ll be able to provide our Formula One fans with such a useful service.”

David Roche, Vice President, Expedia Private Label:
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Formula One, which is a great example of a company diversifying its product portfolio and offering a wider experience including travel services to its customers.

“Expedia’s dynamic packaging technology will enable Formula One consumers to select their ideal race, choose how they get there, where they stay and what they do, providing convenience and savings.”
