Ferrari commence work at Paul Ricard

Ferrari began their week of solo testing at the Paul Ricard circuit in France on Tuesday, with Spaniard Marc Gene at the wheel.

The team’s programme focussed on Bridgestone tyre development for the final two rounds of the season in Japan and China. Gene completed a total of 92 laps, the quickest in a time of 1m 11.968s.

Conditions at Paul Ricard were partially cloudy, with track temperatures peaking at just under 30 degrees Celsius. Ferrari continue testing at the circuit on Wednesday, again with Gene in the cockpit of the F2005.
