On Friday Felipe Massa got his first taste of the car in which he will contest his first FIA Formula One World Championship for Ferrari. Massa got behind the wheel at Fiorano where the team continued to shake down the new machine.

With track temperatures struggling to get above freezing, Massa completed 83 laps in the car, currently code-named 657, which will get its official launch on Tuesday.

His best time of 58.224s compared favourably with the 59.569s set by Michael Schumacher on the car’s track debut at the circuit the previous week.
