Barcelona day five - snow stops testing 27 Jan 2006
This weeks final day of Formula One testing at Barcelonas Circuit de Catalunya was abandoned Friday lunchtime due to rain and snow at the Spanish track. McLaren, Toyota, Renault, Red Bull and Ferrari were all due to complete their programmes.
A few drivers ventured out for early installation laps in the morning, but as Rubens Barrichello proved when he spun off harmlessly in his Honda, conditions were too poor to conduct any meaningful running and no times were set.
The teams therefore decided to pack up early and switch their attentions to next weeks session at Valencia which gets underway on Monday.
