Rain disrupts Renaults Silverstone test 11 Oct 2006
Poor weather conditions at the UKs Silverstone circuit on Wednesday prevented any meaningful running for Renault, who were there to carry out preparations for next weekends Brazilian Grand Prix.
Heavy rain at various points during the day meant the team made little progress as they were restricted to a small number of installation laps with test driver Nelsinho Piquet at the wheel. The Brazilian did not record a lap-time.
Renault will continue testing at at the British Grand Prix circuit on Thursday, with the weather forecasts holding the promise of better conditions.
