Toyota to launch TF107 in January 30 Nov 2006
Toyota will reveal their 2007 car, the TF107, at a special pre-season event on Friday 12 January, the team have announced. The wraps will come off the new machine at Expo XXI in Cologne, Germany.
The team will use the opportunity to celebrate 50 years of Toyota in motorsport and preview their sixth season in Formula One racing. In addition to the TF107, race drivers Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli, as well third driver Franck Montagny and team management, will be in attendance.
After finishing a strong fourth in the 2005 constructors’ championship, Toyota experienced a more difficult 2006 campaign, ending the year in sixth place.
