Mosley honoured by French Government 02 Feb 2006
In recognition of his contribution to motor sport and road safety, FIA President Max Mosley has been made a Chevalier dans lOrdre de la Légion dHonneur.
The presentation was conducted on Tuesday night by French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy and French Sports Minister Jean-François Lamour at a ceremony in the French Foreign Ministry at the Quai dOrsay in Paris.
The ceremony was attended by a group of Mosleys family, friends and colleagues from the automotive and motorsport industries, including Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One team bosses Jean Todt and Dietrich Mateschitz, and ex-Grand Prix star Gerhard Berger.
