February test debut for Super Aguri 06 Feb 2006
Formula One racing’s newest team, Super Aguri, have confirmed they will commence their 2006 testing programme later this month at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya.
The Japanese team will run for three days from February 21, using their Honda-powered SA05 machine, which is based on a 2002 Arrows chassis. An all-new car is expected for the start of the European season.
Aguri Suzuki’s squad have yet to confirm any drivers, but they are known to have been in negotiations with former BAR star Takuma Sato. An announcement regarding the team’s full driver line-up is expected shortly.
