Fog and rain greet Ferrari at Mugello 28 Feb 2006
Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa had a mixture of weather conditions to contend with on Monday as Ferrari began testing at their Mugello circuit in Italy.
The session was affected by fog at the start of the day and rain at the end of it. Nevertheless the two team mates clocked up just under 80 laps between them.
Each driver had a new 248 F1 at his disposal. Schumacher concentrated on general set-up, with the emphasis on aerodynamics, covering 47 laps with a best time of 1m 22.623s. Massa's programme targeted reliability and he did 32 laps, the quickest in 1m 24.249s.
Ferrari continue at Mugello on Tuesday, again with Schumacher and Massa.
