Revised Super Aguri at Silverstone 01 Mar 2006
The Super Aguri team took another step towards their Formula One debut on Tuesday when they shook down the two SA05 chassis that will be used at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix.
Both Takuma Sato and team mate Yuji Ide were on hand at Silverstone, but poor weather meant only a handful of laps were completed. They were enough, however, to give the media a glimpse of the revised bodywork and livery that the team will run in Bahrain.
Super Aguri were joined at Silverstone by MF1, who had three drivers in action. Markus Winkelhock and Giorgio Mondini finalized their preparations for their Friday driving duties in Bahrain and Malaysia respectively, while Tiago Monteiro conducted the remainder of the shakedown of the teams second M16 race chassis.
