Mondini concludes Midland test
|
Midland wrapped up their two-day Silverstone test on Thursday, with Swiss driver Giorgio Mondini carrying out straight-line work in showery conditions on the circuits Tower Straight. Mondini completed a total of 59 straight-line passes and 56 starts in the teams Toyota-powered M16 machine.
"Today was a dedicated control systems test, explained Dominic Harlow, Midlands chief race and test engineer. We couldn't control the weather, obviously, but we did manage to come away with plenty of valuable data. "This concludes our two-day test at Silverstone and we expect the information we have gained here will result in some improvements to our launch strategy."
