Sunday weather update - perfect conditions 07 May 2006
Welcome back to race day for the Grand Prix of Europe, the fifth round of the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Once again the sky is a pale blue with a little cloud, and it is expected that the ambient temperature will be around 20 to 21 degrees Celsius, with zero chance of rain, creating perfect conditions for the race.
There have been no major changes to the 5.148 kilometre (3.199 mile) circuit since 2005, when Nick Heidfeld took pole position for BMW Williams with a lap of 1m 28.351s and Fernando Alonso won after Kimi Raikkonens late-race McLaren suspension failure.
The race will run over 60 laps (308.863 kilometres/191.938 miles) and will start at 1400 hours local time (1200 hours GMT).
