Sunday weather update - perfect for racing 14 May 2006
Welcome back to race day for the Spanish Prix at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya, the sixth round of the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Thus far this morning the weather has been perfect, with an ambient high of 20 degrees Celsius, and that's the way it is going to stay for the rest of the day, providing perfect conditions for the race.
The 4.627 km (2.875 mile) circuit is largely unchanged since 2005 when Kimi Raikkonen took pole position in 1m 14.819s for McLaren and went on to win the race. This years event runs over 66 laps for a total distance of 305.256 kilometres (189.686 miles), and starts at 1400 hours local time (1200 GMT).
