Who tests where pre-France? 04 Jul 2006
With the two North American flyaway races completed, the Formula One teams head back to Europe this week to begin testing in preparation for the forthcoming French Grand Prix.
The Jerez circuit in Spain is the venue for what looks set to be one of the busiest sessions of the year. At least 10 of the 11 teams are expected to take to the track between Tuesday and Friday, running either two or three-day programmes.
Michelin will be keen to secure a home victory at Magny-Cours before they bow out of Formula One racing at the end of the season and all six of their teams will likely be tasked with finding the optimum casings and compounds for the French race.
The Bridgestone teams will also be out in force with Ferrari, Williams, Toyota and Midland teams all due to join their Michelin rivals at Jerez.
Check back throughout the week for daily updates on the teams progress. Note - all schedules are provisional and subject to change.
