Welcome back to the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim, the 12th round of the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship.
After Saturdays warm but humid conditions, the ambient temperature is due to rise even further, from 29 to 31 degrees Celsius. As the storms on previous days have come only in the evening, it is likely that any of the scattered showers forecast for Sunday will not affect the race itself, which starts at 1400 local time, so conditions should be perfect.
The 4.574 kilometre (2.842 mile) circuit is unchanged since last year. The 67-lap race will run over 306.458 kilometres (190.433 miles) and will start at 1400 hours local time (1200 GMT).
