Ferrari wrap-up Mugello programme 22 Sep 2006
Michael Schumacher and Luca Badoer were at the wheel for Ferrari on Thursday, as the Italian team concluded a two-day session at the Mugello circuit near Florence.
Both men worked on development of new mechanical components and Bridgestone tyres for the three final race of the 2006 season. Schumacher completed 98 laps, setting a best time of 1m 20.366s, while Badoer covered 148 laps, the quickest in 1m 22.355s.
At the same time at Ferrari’s Fiorano circuit, Felipe Massa carried out the shakedown of the 248 F1 chassis that will be used in the back-to-back races in China and Japan. Massa did 20 laps, half on the short version of the track, the quickest a 59.240s.
