Williams to launch new car in February 08 Jan 2007
The car Williams will use to contest the 2007 Formula One world championship will be unveiled at the teams UK headquarters on Friday, February 2. The day after the presentation, the FW29 will journey from Williams Grove factory to Spains Jerez circuit where it will make its test debut the following week.
The new car will be powered by a Toyota engine, after Williams signed a three-year supply agreement with the Japanese company last July. After a trying 2006 season, it is hoped the new car and engine package will stimulate a marked improvement in the teams results.
