Suzuki drives the SA06 at Silverstone 15 Jan 2007
Super Aguri team principal, Aguri Suzuki, returned to the cockpit on Monday to drive his teams SA06 during a special event at Silverstone. Suzuki, who will be 47 in September, enjoyed an eight-year career as a Formula One driver during the late 1980s and early 90s.
Suzuki was joined at the British Grand Prix circuit by fellow Formula One veterans Martin Brundle and Christian Danner, who are being given the chance to sample the SA06 in their roles as race commentators on British and German television.
Suzuki and Brundle are old rivals. They last competed against each other in Formula One machinery at the 1994 Pacific Grand Prix, before going on to share a race seat at Ligier in 1995.
