Ferrari F2007 completes maiden test outing 16 Jan 2007
Ferrari race driver Felipe Massa got his first taste of the team’s 2007 car on Monday morning, completing a shakedown test at the Fiorano circuit in Italy. The F2007, which was launched on Sunday, enjoyed a successful debut.
Despite foggy conditions early in the day, Massa completed a total of 39 laps, all on the long version of the track, the Brazilian clocking a best time of 58.360s.
The F2007 will be back in action on January 23 at Italy’s Mugello circuit, where Massa will be joined by new Ferrari team mate Kimi Raikkonen.
