Early February arrival for new Spyker 23 Jan 2007
Spykers 2007 Formula One car, their first since buying the team from Midland last year, will be launched on February 5, it was confirmed Tuesday. The as-yet unnamed machine will be unveiled to the press at the UKs Silverstone circuit, where Spykers factory is located.
Spyker have not tested since the end of last season, instead focussing their attentions on the new car - successor to the M16 - which will be powered by Ferrari engines. It is expected to make its track debut at Silverstone shortly after launch.
The Dutch-owned team have already confirmed their 2007 driver line-up of Hollands Christijan Albers and German newcomer Adrian Sutil.
