March launch for new Super Aguri 30 Jan 2007
Super Aguri confirmed on Tuesday they will launch their 2007 challenger, the SA07, on March 12. The new car will be unveiled to the press in Tokyo, less than a week before the seasons opening Grand Prix in Australia.
The Japanese team, who are currently testing an interim car in Valencia, confirmed their driver line-up late last year, with former Honda tester Anthony Davidson chosen to race alongside Japanese veteran Takuma Sato.
The Super Aguri announcement leaves Toro Rosso as the only team still to confirm a launch date. Williams will become the next squad to reveal their 2007 machine this Friday (February 2), while Spyker will unveil their new car next Monday (February 5).
