Leading internet retailer Kitbag Ltd. has signed a multi-year agreement with Formula One Administration Ltd. to operate the F1 Store™ merchandise business at Formula1.com.

The new service, which will launch in the spring of 2008, will be designed, developed and managed by Kitbag. It will build on the foundations laid by the current microsite and benefit from Kitbag’s considerable expertise in this field. It will stock a broad range of official products including Formula One™ team merchandise.

Bernie Ecclestone, CEO of the Formula One Group:
“Kitbag has a very good reputation in this area and I’m sure this collaboration will be a success. Formula1.com has had more than 20 million visitors this year and we will continue to maintain it as a first class website. This deal is another good example of us delivering that.”

Ray Evans, Managing Director of Kitbag Limited:
“We are delighted to be breaking into the exciting world of Formula One. Kitbag will do everything it takes between now and launch of the 2008 Formula One season to ensure that this website is absolutely best of breed. We have a proven background in managing e-commerce businesses for sports rights owners, and in terms of prestige and opportunity they don’t come much better than this.”
