Happy holidays from Formula1.com
It has been a memorable year for Formula One racing, not least for Kimi Raikkonens maiden drivers championship, Lewis Hamiltons stunning debut season and the much-talked about spy scandals. And as 2007 draws to a close, we would like to thank you for your support over the past season and wish all our users the very best for the holiday period.
Needless to say the first month of 2008 already looks set to be a busy one as the teams gear up for the opening round of the new season in Australia. Already several of them have confirmed plans to launch their new cars in January.
Toyota kick off proceedings on January 10, when the wraps come off the TF108 in Cologne, Germany. Munich in Germany is the venue for BMW Saubers launch on January 14, while Honda also stay close to home, with plans to reveal the RA108 in Brackley on January 29. And Renault have chosen French capital Paris as the backdrop for their new cars official unveiling on January 31.
There will also be plenty of testing activity following the mid-winter break, with most teams expected to track debut their 2007 machines in mid to late January.
We will, as always, be keeping you informed of all the developments from the world of Formula One racing, so stay in touch with Formula1.com in the countdown to Melbourne on March 16 for the latest updates.
In the meantime, have a great holiday season and a very happy New Year!
