Drivers star in Red Bull movie 21 Feb 2007
Red Bull team mates David Coulthard and Mark Webber have starred in a pre-season film, produced by the Austrian drinks company. The movie, which also features Vitantonio Liuzzi and Scott Speed from Red Bull’s sister team Toro Rosso, will be premiered in March in Melbourne, ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.
This year's film is the second pre-season ‘mood film’ to be produced by Red Bull. Although the plot will remain a closely guarded secret until its launch, it is understood to feature a fight between Coulthard and Webber and the Toro Rosso duo. While the Red Bull drivers filmed scenes in the Czech Republic, Speed and Liuzzi found themselves in front of the cameras in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Red Bull’s movie will be distributed to TV companies in Melbourne and will also be shown throughout the season in the team’s Energy Station motor home.
