Fine start for Raikkonen at Ferrari 16 Mar 2007
Kimi Raikkonen had the dubious honour of becoming the first driver to be fined in 2007, after exceeding the pit-lane speed limit in Friday mornings opening practice session in Melbourne.
Raikkonen, starting his first Grand Prix meeting since his switch from McLaren to Ferrari, was relieved of 200 by the stewards after he was clocked at 61.7 km/h in his F2007. The limit is 60 km/h.
Renault's Giancarlo Fisichella was later fined 3,600 when he took his R27 up to 78.2 km/h.
